My recent ideas on dance and math

I was enormously lucky to work on a joint paper (for the Bridges 2023 conference) with such mega-stars (of dance and math) as Susan Gerofsky and Karl Schaffer, and an emerging star S. Brackett Robertson. The paper is devoted to art practices built on the famous ‘seven bridges’ mathematical problem.
Tomorrow (Sunday, June 25, 10 AM Pacific Time), at the monthly DMAM (Dance, Movement Arts, and Mathematics) online meeting, I will talk about my recent ideas on connecting dance and math, which were ignited by working on this joint paper. They relate to graph theory’s application to dance making.
