III International Festival of Contemporary Dance “On the Verge” will take place in Ekaterinburg from November 28 till December 2, 2011. I am participating with two pieces: contemporary dance performance “Urban Fairies”, duet with Olga Sevostianova, at the Sverdlovsk State Academic Theater of Musical Comedy on November 29; and part of interdisciplinary performance “Experiment”, made in collaboration with photographer Stanislav Bagley, at the Ekaterinburg Puppet Theater on November 30.

On September 30 the bigger version of “Experiment” was presented at the Gallery of Progress in Kirov, Russia in the framework of “ZDВИГ – 3″ festival of contemporary dance and performance. You can see below a short video from the performance.

“Experiment” was conceived as an interdisciplinary art project that leads to the performance combining together choreography and photography. It was made in collaboration with photographer Stanislav Bagley.

I am presenting two pieces at the festival of contemporary dance and performance ”ZDВИГ – 3″ [that could be translated as "shift" or "displacement"]: “Temporary Life”, coproduction with video-artist Anna Kolosova from Saint Petersburg, at the Theater on Spasskaya on September 28; and “Experiment”, collaboration with photographer Stanislav Bagley from Moscow, at the Gallery of Progress on September 30.

Olga Sevostianova and I will present a dance performance at the ”GOFFMAN ОТДЫХАЕТ” (can be translated as “Goffman takes a rest”) theater festival that will take place at countryside, near Chelyabinsk/Russia, on some lake island. We will dance there on July 15 after midday, closer to the evening. Preferably on a beach.
